Another week passes.
Friday has arrived and I am still horizontal. I wish I could say that I have improved, at least I am not vomitting. I do hope to return for Monday. I know many of you have questions, don’t be shy, ask someone next to you.
Remember the purpose of this project: to set up a webpage that offers a product, an innovation, a business that is marketed to the consumer. Who is your consumer? Who wants to buy it, or who wants to hire you? How much does it cost, how long will it last, what can you do for them. In the future you will have to set up such websites, I can’t think of any business these days that doesn’t have a website. I realize that using MS Word seems a little Mickey Mouse, however, if you have gone through all of Mr. Van Sickle’s lessons you will have a better understanding of what makes a good website.
Today I would like you to send me an email and attach all the lessons (hopefully 1-4) that you have completed: calebmorton2001@yahoo.ca
Some of you handed in hard copies but I would still like you to send me an email; since I do not have my binder ( it has been passed between many TOCs hands this week). You will be getting a mark on how much progress you have made so SEND something.
The entire project is hopefully going to be wrapped up on Wednesday. The next thing you should all be thinking about is your term project, the one that you thought about doing at the beginning of the year. I also have two more projects planned. One will involve using Movie Maker and making a short commercial to advertise your business and your website. The other project is getting inside the computer and making sure that you finish this course knowing all the names and parts of a computer. Finally, there is your term project: many people have wanted to make movies but I only have two cameras and supposedly (ask Emma and Chelsea) they have not cooperated very well, so it would seem that if you do not have your own digital equipment making a movie may not be a good project and you should start to think of something else (making a game with freesoftware such as gamemaker??)

what’s up with this sub! he really thinks he knows what he’s doing…. he’s trying to tell us to use a different program…like wtf can he seriously do that? i mean we have like 2 days before this is finished, you shoulda told this guy to eat an apple and sit in his chair and be quiet.
